Can you describe your current role and responsibilities?
My role as a Mortgage Broker is to enable our clients to navigate the many thousands of mortgage products, to find the most effective solution for them, and to make it happen as quickly as is required. I deal with house purchases and remortgages, investment properties and Buy-to-Let mortgages, as well as second homes and holiday homes. Whether employed, self-employed or retired, there are always options available.
What has been your journey so far?
I started as a Mortgage Adviser in 2004 for what is now a large national mortgage brokerage in Bath. After 8 years, I moved company, for a similar role, before joining Digby Associates in 2020.
What do you enjoy most about working in your field?
I enjoy the whole property journey, from the excitement of first time buyers, to moving house and renovating property, to building a portfolio of investment/rental properties. I now have a bank of many repeat clients, some of whom I have been working with for nearly 20 years.
What’s a fun fact about you or an interesting hobby you enjoy?
Outside of work, I enjoy food/wine and cooking, windsurfing and scuba diving if given the chance, and playing acoustic guitar.
