Can you describe your current role and responsibilities?
As Business Development Manager, I work closely with the management team to help deliver projects, support acquisitions and ensure the business continues to grow effectively. My role involves coordinating teams, improving processes and helping maintain the high standards of service our clients expect from Digby Associates.
What has been your journey so far?
I began my career with AXA Sun Life in 2000 and spent 14 years working within the life and pensions industry. I joined Digby Associates in 2014 as a Financial Adviser before moving into business development. Since then, I have played a key role in supporting the firm’s growth and helping integrate a number of successful acquisitions.
What do you enjoy most about working in your field?
Financial services is constantly evolving, with changes to legislation, taxation and pensions creating new challenges and opportunities. I enjoy helping the business adapt to these changes, supporting advisers and contributing to projects that improve how we serve our clients.
What’s a fun fact about you or an interesting hobby you enjoy?
Outside of work, family life keeps me busy and I enjoy running and cycling whenever time permits. I have entered the London Marathon ballot every year since 2011 and, despite my persistence, I’m still waiting for another successful place.
