Our History

2007

Digby decided to start his own business and Digby Associates was formed in Alma Vale Road, Clifton. They partnered with Positive Solutions for compliance who had a reputation for their thoroughness.

2008

Digby takes on his first employee, school leaver Lewis Brain, as Office Junior.

2013

Positive Solutions network was purchased by Intrinsic Financial Planning, increasing their number of advisers from 850 to 3,000

2014

Digby employs a second Financial Adviser, James Long, and becomes an appointed representative of Positive Solutions.

2015

Paul Flower joins the business bringing 40 years of Banking experience with him. Jack Harries joins as a full-time Mortgage Adviser. Digby Associates move to 57 Queen Square.

2017

After four years at Digby Associates, Tom Bohr becomes the first Administrator to qualify as a Financial Adviser. Retiring IFA Paul Watkins chooses Digby Associates to take over his clients.

2018

Three more Administrators, including Lewis, qualify and get promoted to Advisers.

2019

Due to the growth of the business Graham Jones and Gary Stoker join as Advisers and Senior Managers. Digby Associates acquire 'The Financial Practice, Malvern'. Digby Associates wins the Quilter Key Accounts Top Producer Award, 2019. Intrinsic Financial Solutions rebrand as Quilter Financial Planning.

2021

Digby Associates acquires 'Falcon Financial Advice, Cheltenham' and establish an office in Cheltenham.

2022

A further two members of staff successfully qualify as Advisers. Digby Associates win Quilter’s Key Accounts Business of the Year award 2022.
